September 7, 2007, Newsletter Issue #80: Bermuda's Beautiful Beaches

Tip of the Week

In Bermuda, you really cannot go wrong in your beach selection. However, the most recognizable and recommended of all the beaches for your Bermuda vacation has to be Elbow Beach.

Unlike most beaches, Elbow Beach has pink sand which comes from a single-celled animal called foram. Don't worry, it's fossils that form the beach and (when mixed with other marine life fossils) gives the beach a pink hue. The beauty of Elbow Beach is accentuated by the magnificent hotels along the coastline and the crystal-clear water that kisses the beach.
