If you’re considering a Mexico vacation, there are Cancun hotels to satisfy every budget and every taste imaginable. An activity that satisfies both “fun” and “fascinating” qualifications is a day trip to Chichen Itza, one of the most recognizable places on the planet. If you’ve ever watched a TV documentary about Mayan ruins or pyramids, you’re probably familiar with El Castillo, the impressive pyramid-like structure that was recently designated one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. The trip from Cancun can take close to two-and-a-half hours, so make sure you’ve cleared your day before heading out.
